No Pumpkins Are Safe...

from my new glitter spraypaint obsession.

Ok.
So some are.
I'm not about to glitterize my cute beadboard looking pumpkins from Hobby Lobby.
Or my weathered ones from last year...

so maybe it's just the cheap-y, look fake pumpkins that aren't safe.
We'll go with that :)

So I had these guys from my trip to Hobby Lobby...

And, I'm sorry guys, but these things aren't that cute.
I kinda think they're ug-lay.
They just scream 'fake' and they're pretending to be real.

If you're gonna go fake...at least be pretty :)

So I got out my handy dandy glitter blast spray
(I did these at the same time I did my glitter gourds!)
And I blasted these guys with pretty colors!

Don't they look like a ga-jillion times better?
And, yes, ga-jillion is definitely a word in this house :)

The white pumpkin was done with some crackle spraypaint.
(I mean, what are they going to think of next?)
I've had the paint sitting in my garage for a long time and I was afraid it wouldn't work,
but it worked like a charm.
I love the orange showing through the cracks!

These were the first fall decor to go out so they've made me  happy while we've been slowly transitioning to fall.

The white one might be my favorite (don't tell the glitter punkins!)
I seem to always lean towards the more weathered, vintage look.
And it just balances out the glam on the others.

But the glammed out ones do rock for fall, huh?

I have one more fall Glitter project to show you guys.
And just in case you're worried that my house is going to be too sparkly to live in,
don't even worry your pretty heads about it.
I have plenty of distressed & weathered too.
Just wait til you see the new fall look on the mantle :)

I empted out my alphabet balls from my Bowl of Balls and threw in my punkins.
Easy fall transformation!

What do you think of glittered pumpkins?
Up your alley or too glitzy?

Hope you guys have a fabulous Friday...
don't forget to enter the giveaway for a free print from the Paper Clouds!!
It ends Monday :)

  6. I just bought out the Dollar Tree of pumpkins for the same purpose. Oh yes, I also purchased a lonely skull which needs some loving sparkle. Now all I need is the glitter and I will be on my way to some bling.
