Another Fabulous Chair Redo

If you could see my garage,
you would see that I have a slight obsession with chairs...

I actually even picked another cutie up off the side of the road a couple days ago.
They just find me :)

I adore them.
I think there's so much history behind them and there are tons of gorgeous, intricate details that are sometimes only found on a fabulously old chair.
I digress.

(But really, chairs are awesome.)

Remember my delicious chair revamp from the not-so-distant-past?
I get a ton of questions on the fabric used with that chair and you'll be pleased to know that you'll be seeing it again today :)
Aren't you excited??

It's just a fun, vibrant fabric that definitely deserved to be seen on more than one chair.
Actually, this summer I have a huge project planned involving several chairs that will be dressed the same.
I'm super excited about redoing my dining room.
I can't wait to share my vision with you guys soon!!!

This chair will be a part of my dining room redo and matches my chair from the previous post.
But he's a cutie all on it's own so check him out :

Don't you love the tall, elegant back on him?
And he had caning which was a big plus since the original chairs in my dining set also have caning.
I just needed to add a couple more so this guy will fit in perfectly without being all matchy-matchy.

I sprayed him down with heirloom white and while he dried, I pried off the seat and got to work covering the yuck upholstery.

And of course, it's in that fabulous, oh-so-colorful awesome fabric from the first chair!!

In case you're dying to know it's called 'mocca' by Alexander Henry.
I get mine at JoAnns but you can also find it here.

It's just funky enough to be amazing and it fits in perfectly with all my yellows, blues and browns around the house.

Doesn't the fabric look fabulous against the white paint?

And have I mentioned how much I love chair legs?
These are oh-so-gorgeous.

I added a bit of glaze to it to bring out some of the detailing.
A quick wipe-on, wipe-off technique.

And he's ready to join the party!!
I wish I could say that about all my chairs.
I have the four original chairs that need to get in on the redo action!

All in good time :)

And just because we all love a good before/after shot, here's his:

What do you think?
Will he make for a pretty awesome dining room set?

Hope you guys have a fabulous Friday :)
See ya back here Monday!
