Looking for an easy & fun Father's Day Gift?
I think this will fall in most men's 'favorite' category.
It definitely has for my man lately.
We recently were able to get our first 'new' car.
Well, new to us.
But it was still exciting :)
Hubby's sad little Camry finally gave up the ghost so we went on a hunt for a new ride for him.
We ended up getting a way cute 2001 BMW that he is totally in love with.
We got a great deal & have several friends that are BMW fanatics that can help offset any of the crazy mechanical costs that could come up in the future.
So hubby got his first man car.
Little man loves it because he thinks it looks like one of the spy cars off Cars 2.
Plus he thinks it has a mustache which is way cute but it totally looks like it does.
We quickly named him Buster for no reason I can think of other than it fit somehow.
So we have Buster the Bimmer as a new member of the family.
Random: but WHY is it spelled Bimmer? Not Beemer?
That's what I always thought. Oh well.
I've learned.
So I knew exactly what would put a smile on my guys face.
Considering he's super obsessed with keeping his car sleek and shiny.
So I threw together a super quick and easy gift that is PERFECT for any guy who loves to take care of their car.
I took a regular old cleaning bucket I got from Target:
and it just so happened that Target loved me that day and they had a great ArmorAll gift set hanging out for 20$.
So I grabbed that too.
And of course, I can't leave well enough alone so I had to fancy it up a tiny bit.
But of course, not too much.
Cuz it has to be manly and all.
I tied a couple pieces of burlap around the handle along with a little BMW tag to make sure he knew who it belonged too :)
All the car cleaning supplies just nestled into some tissue paper.
Nothing super fancy.
I also added a quick name tag to the front.
Just for Buster.
I stuck it on with a few pieces of double-stick tape but I know it won't last long.
And because I love you
(and I know everyone likes a super easy gift to put together)
I've got the printable name tag for you to print out if you want.
Just add hubby's name (or if you're a geek like us) the cars name!!

Doesn't get easier than that!!
(But good luck getting out of Target with just those items. Never happens for me)

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! I've done something similar for my husband - and a great time to buy all this stuff is around November. I got a lot at Target for about 90% off!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnd you're so smart so you've probably already thought of this - but you could just stick some packing tape over the label and ta-da, waterproof!! :) I use packing tape for "laminating" a lot!!
