Mustard Yellow Table Makeover

I'm in the midst of bringing out all my fall boxes in preparation for getting the house all fall-ified.
I've had several projects I wanted to get done before getting everything out for the mantel so I don't have pictures yet...but soon :) Promise.

I wanted to pop in and share a pair of tables I did last fall that are the perfect fall color.

Check out these cute little tables before I got a hold of them...

The client that brought them in loved color and was bored with these wood-toned tables.
I was a little iffy about the yellow paint she brought with them for me to paint with but once it was on and dried, it was gorgeous.

I'm all about a beautiful mustard yellow.
They took three coats to cover and dried amazingly.
Check out that gorgeous deep yellow:

The lines were perfect for a little distressing.

I don't know about you, but mustard yellow exudes fall to me.
Maybe it's just cuz I'm a sucker for turquoise and yellow together.
Who knows, but it's beautiful :)

I love people who love color like I do and these tables were so fun to paint!
Sometimes it's fun to break out of the whites & blacks and get a little crazy :)

Here is the dramatic before & after....

Is mustard yellow a favorite of yours for fall too?

The leaves are starting to fall already here but cooler weather isn't in sight yet.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed though!!
Happy Monday!

  4. Christina I would absolutely love to be able to tell you but I did this piece over a year ago for a client and she provided the paint so I have no idea what the name was. I know it was from Sherwin Williams... I'm so sorry I can't help more!!
