De...The high heat paint I used was a pretty white!! Definitely brightened things up. But I have only seen the high heat paint in black and white colors- you may check online to see if more are offered there! I bet there are all kinds of options out there if you just want to flat replace the whole thing- I just wanted to brighten mine up without spending big bucks! Hope that helps a little! Is there high heat paint in colors other than just black? Paint it on or spray it on? Has anyone just flat out removed the old one and bought a new one to replace it? I cannot seem to pry to thing off and two, that detailing looks to be an actual vent to allow oxygen in, did you just paint over it? My husband wasn't sure it would be ok if I painted over the vents.
