{Sharing the Love} Day 5: Pokemon Valentine Printable

We've made it to the last day, friends!

I can't believe it's already Friday and the end of this series!
It's flown by so fast, it's crazy.

This last printable is something a bit unique and varies from the last four days in that it's not really for adding to your valentine decor.
I mean, unless you really want to.
It's your life :)

I don't know if the pokemon frenzy has hit your house yet but it's in full swing over here.
It started a little over a year ago when the husby introduced the show to our now seven year old little man.
He was quickly head over heels into Ashs' and Pikachu's poke world.
Then came collecting the cards...binders full.
Now we have several DS games, two binders full of cards, a 'deck' for playing, pokemon snap for the wii and a whole Netflix Queue with every season imaginable.

Little man could tell you the poxe-dex info for any random pokemon you come up.
Including special attacks, hit points and whether they are 'effective' or not in battle.
Plus any and all evolutions.

It's cute & mildy irritating at times.
But boys will be boys and right now, my little boy wishes more than anything that pokemon were real :)
And I wouldn't have it any other way.

So for Valentines we, of course, had to come up with something to do for pokemon.
Since little man has been collecting cards for a while, we have tons of duplicate cards so we decided to make some good use of them and incorporate them into our valentine cards this year.

So if you're looking for a non-candy pokemon valentine idea, you've hit the jackpot here, my friends.

Check out these cute ones we whipped up the other evening...

Here's the rundown on how I put these together:

*Treat bags (I had regular ones on hand from Hobby Lobby & just cut the tops off to make them shorter)
*Extra pokemon cards (We had tons or packs of about 10 are around 4$)
*ribbon
*Free pokemon printable

It's super straight-forward on how to put them together.
Print your printable valentine, use a circle punch to cut them out and a holepunch to punch a small hole at the top.
Place your pokemon card in the treat bag, tie closed with cute ribbon & then attach your printable pokemon card to the ribbon!

And voila!
Instantly make any pokemon lover incredibly happy!

They'd be super cute printed out on sticker paper and put on kraft bags or a fun treat of some kind.

My little man is super excited about giving these out on Valentine's Day at school and I hope it makes one of your little people smile too!

{Sharing the Love} Day 4: Love Lives Here Printable

We are already almost finished with this amazing week, can you believe it?!?

This week has flown by and I've enjoyed every single minute of sharing these fun printables with you guys.

Today's printable is so simple but a wonderful reminder for how a home should feel.

We definitely strive to have a 'love-filled' home even though sometimes it's the hardest thing to keep up.
I want my kids to remember a home filled with loving memories so this is such a great reminder for keeping that atmosphere around daily.

I did a fun project with this same sentiment that I can't wait to share soon!

{Sharing the Love} Day 3: You Are Adored Printable

So I just realized that yesterday's post had the picture stating it was 'day 4' and I totally got the prints out of order for which day they were coming out.

Heh.

I'm just counting the fact that I've been able to get posts up this week...I'll let you decide if it's horrible that I made a silly mistake :)
I'm just glad to be back for a bit...so I'm not going to sweat the small stuff.

Anywho.

Today's print is fun & whimsical which is how Valentine's should feel, right?
Colorful and lovey and happy.

It comes in three fun colors...the yellow is somewhat random but my living room is blue & yellow and I wanted one of these to be out year-round so I made it yellow.
The power of being the creator of the prints :)

{Sharing the Love} Day 2: Hello Gorgeous Printable

Hello lovely readers!!

We are moving right along onto day 2 of my Sharing the Love series!!

Today's print is nice & simple.
I've loved all the 'hello gorgeous' things that have been trending lately and had to jump on the bandwagon and create this bold printable with that same sentiment.

Funny story is that when Husby and I first got together it made him super embarrassed when I called him 'gorgeous'. He'd blush like crazy and become incredibly flustered.
Can you believe my incredible guy wasn't used to being called gorgeous?
I mean, come on!!

But that's okay with me cuz I'm the one who gets to call him that for now on!!

So make your sweetheart blush by popping it in a frame and setting it on his nightstand or taping the print right to the bathroom mirror!
Get creative and have some fun with it :)

I popped mine into a pretty gold frame and nestled it in among some milk glass, burlap flowers & a mirror tray from Target.

I love how bold the black & white & red are together!!

Are you enjoying your free prints so far??
Don't forget to stop by tomorrow for yet another one!

Happy Tuesday!

{Sharing the Love} Day 1: I'd Choose You Printable

I'm back this week from my incredibly long hiatus to get this Valentine party going!!!

For the past three (?!) years, I've been doing a series called 'Sharing the Love' where I share a new Valentine-themed printable every single day with all my lovely readers.

It's one of my absolute favorite events here on my little blog and I couldn't stand to let it pass me up this year even with things slowing down a bit.

So I dreamed up several pretty little prints to share with you guys and I can't wait to get going!!

Today's print is near & dear to my heart because this quote totally belongs in me and the husby's love story.

We always tell each other that we can't believe that we are together.
Our love story is a wild & crazy one with lots of twists and turns.
Hopefully I'll get around to finishing it for you guys :)

But no matter what, without a single doubt in my mind, I'd choose him all over again to be my soulmate and partner in life.
Totally sappy I know but wonderful in my eyes.

So here's to all of us that know that, without a shadow of doubt, you could never choose anyone else.

All you have to do to get your pretty little print is to click the link below for the color that you want and then

Printables are one of my favorite things to use in my everyday decor because they are so easy to change with the seasons and add something different in when I'm needing a change!!

I'm excited about getting a little Valentine's decor out in the house to amp up the love :)
I printed mine as a 5x7 on cardstock and popped it in a simple white frame!

Hope you guys enjoy your love-day freebie and head back over tomorrow to see what's next!!

See you soon!!
